So instead of shorting stock you buy put options same thing I find it funny they’d ban short selling for 60 days because of the market falling like banning buying if it’s soaring total manipulation tactic imho

Instead of halting trading why can not Gov ban short selling and keep the trading on. It is no brainer.


But the problem is traders can not make big profits without short trading.
