SA: "Berkshire falls through financial crisis low by one measure"

* "Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A, BRK.B) now trades at 0.976x book value, according to Tobias Carlisle. That's a cheaper valuation than at the bottom of the global financial crisis.

* We're working off 12/31 book values for both the financial crisis calculation and this year's, so while book value has no doubt slid in 2020, it also slid in 2009.

* The House of Buffett is down 2.4% today and about 26% over the past month, outperforming the S&P 500 by roughly 500 basis points."
