#29023 RE: Gungadin1 #29020

Just to be clear, viruses don't die in the summer, this is a myth. The means of transmission is reduced by warm weather but the viruses are still there. And not all viruses are subject to reduction in transmission in the warmer weather. Some common viruses spread by air droplets which stay suspended in air for longer in cool air, and spread more efficiently when we are in small enclosed spaces. But they continue to live and come back the next year.
