I was going to suggest some ideas and then stopped

What is missing is a plan - strategy if one prefers - for next year !!

e.g. maybe vaccine - maybe earlier efforts to contain - maybe ?

but we get zero - nothing from a WH that says this is less than the flu in potential danger

(note we do not isolate for the FLU so it spreads like crazy - few and fewer die --- where corona if it spreads like FLU with no isolation and grows to similar size might be 3-6X more deaths)

Actually, the whole world is in a mess and no one major leader seems to care.

QE, negative interest, long gone of common sense but political correctness, wars/tension in middle east, in North Korea, trade disputes, oil price, global warming, corona virus, ...etc. Instead of one-off, they are becoming norm.
