#11818 RE: Andyman23 #11817

I know it’s late, but this is when I’m able to think clearly. I have a theory on the project increase and cost. If you look back at the articles previously written talking about the 137 projects, look how they are written:

“The private initiative delivered 137 energy projects to the government of Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador for evaluation and possible implementation within the infrastructure plan of the CURRENT administration. These are being evaluated by the authority at this time to see which ones we can advertise as viable and IMPLEMENT DURING 2020.

Okay now compare that to the recent article by Reuters:

“275 projects between 2020-2024”

That’s MUCH different. How can they put an appropriate price on projects 2,3 and 4 years out in the future!! What if they are still only accounting for the projects being produced in AMLO’s current administration?!? They just went ahead and forecasted future projects but my guess is the cost isn’t implemented for the future projects. The projects finished in the next 1-2 years will absolutely effect the projects later to come. What if the additional projects are to advance the projects that will be rolled out and completed in the next year and a half?!?

Now this is just my opinion but I think rereading the articles and paying attention to every word written is crucial. There's a time difference with the 137 projects and 275.

Last thing I want to tie in here.

"Under the proposals, the bulk of the work on the projects should be front-loaded into the early years of the 2020-2024 time frame".

That would match up with my theory as 50% of the projects would be implemented within the first year and the other 138 projects added on over the following 3 years leading into 2024. I would think these 138 projects would mostly be to advance the projects already finished. This would also make sense of the delay. These projects that were added late doubled the number of projects and were put together in a matter of weeks. I could see them being able to add a few new projects in that time frame but not 138. I think the delay was for many reasons but one being how important these projects are (the 137) and thus planning 4 years into the future and not just 1. In fact I know my last sentence is correct by the wording of the articles.

Not going to lie I'm kind of feeling myself right now... sheesh

Please inform me on things I might be missing or details I may not know about. That's enough for tonight my friends.

Andy where is their specific mention of 137 projects?

I saw that Carlos Slim mentioned it in one article but I couldn't find anything else
