One of the judges has to have the nerve.

FHFA unconstitutional. Will judges reverse FHFA’s actions(conservatorship)?

Now that it is ruled unconstitutional, will any judge dare to reverse the actions or decisions of the FHFA while it was thus illegally structured?

Wouldn’t that mean that the original 2008 conservatorship is now illegal for yet another reason?

And how will this affect the Wash Federal case?

Per judge Sweeney, Treasury was overpaid $124 billion. As of 12/31/2019 FnF had $23 billion in capital. After paying off preferred shareholders, they'll have $113 billion, or roughly $66 per common share. I think all lawsuits get settled.

I would use Patswil's calculation of $176 per share and add $66 for roughly $242 per share. Who knew? Carlos was right all along.

The constitutionality of fhfa and any remedy should be addressed and settled by scotus before there is any potential settlement. If not there could be a catch 22.

A year later, see this old FHFA question.
