China is in trouble because they don't have a CDC like we do. And they are a communist nation that lies to their people. They cover up. They lie to us. They steal our I.P. So I'm not surprised that China is imploding on this.
The USA is on top of things. Thanks to Trump and the doctors he has on the board. Yes, I'm sure that we'll see more deaths in america over this. Mostly the old (like me) or the very young (toddlers). This virusi is WEAK and can be killed by a lysol spray. The media has created this panic. As investors we should be shrewd to this.
Remember... the death rates are among the old and the very, very young. This is a weak virus. There will be a vaccine within 12 months.
Smart investors will see this and trade accordingly. MRNA seems to be in the front on developing that vaccine. But they have competition.
So stay cool and make $$$ off of the hype and panic. Don't be a part of the panic.
U are not considering many things. The most important parameter is not "How many people will have the disease". Important fields are:
1. Mortality 3% 2. High rate of diffusion
So the right question is:
"How many people will need the vaccine?".
And the answer is ALL PEOPLE OF THE WORLD. Because nobody would like to risk a wonderul 3% of risk of death! We dont search for drugs. We search for vaccine.
