Of course, everyone is free to believe what they want, but I am 100% certain that the "deal" the speaker is referring to in that instance is the T-Mobile/Sprint merger.

And as swallowing_pride pointed out, T-Mobile sells a number of non-phone products in addition to allowing TriCascade to promote its card through the website.

Would I like a T-Mobile buyout, of course, but nothing in that CC makes me think it is going to happen any time soon if at all.
