#11248 RE: Ann1 #11234

He (Trump) didn't say it would 'go away'. He said we might see it reduced

With all due respect Ann1, "go away" due to warm weather is precisely what Trump has said. Twice (at least). I won't get political on here, but this country is in serious danger if leadership understates or misrepresents the potential outcome of the Covid-19 situation. That goes for both political parties, and the media. Democrats have been accused on Fox News of "weaponizing" the Coronavirus in order to attack the president. That's a quote. If those who get their news from one main source are led to believe that the virus situation isn't that bad, then I fear for the country. That's many millions of viewers who may believe this situation isn't potentially grave. It is (in my opinion). I don't think underhyping or overhyping is helpful. Just give us the facts as they are known, and let the experts give their opinions, not political appointees from either party. Here's quotes taken from President Trump's actual tweets and recorded comments, so his words exactly:

From a tweet:
especially as the weather starts to warm & the virus hopefully becomes weaker, and then gone

From the national governors' meeting at the White House:
“The virus that we’re talking about having to do, a lot of people think that goes away in April, with the heat, as the heat comes in, typically that will go away in April.”

From Chad Wolf to Alex Azar to Larry Kudlow, leadership has done what they can to downplay the severity of the situation. This helps exactly no one in my opinion. I hope Generex has the cure, as I'm a shareholder now (thank you Solar_Express). We'll all be fabulously wealthy (and healthy) if GNBT has the drug that makes it happen, so we're on the same side here. I just hope things don't go south because ANY elected official downplays this due to political concerns....
