Nobody knows anything.

Oil needs to be found. No matter how good the outlook.

Look at eco atlantic in Guyana, where Tullow and Total are partners.

They found heavy oil… now it's commerciality needs to be checked.

https://www.spglobal.com/platts/en/market-insights/latest-news/oil/020320-tullow-partners-to-assess-future-of-guyanas-heavy-oil-block

This is still oil exploration, therefore your assumptions are incorrect.

And I don't rule out that a lot HAVE bought, when it still was possible… right on.

We don't know exactly how many shares naked short sellers printed out of Canada...

We only know that if Offor and friends own 100% and the small group own 50% then at least 50% would be short. AT LEAST.

But what if Canadian short sellers printed BILLIONS and BILLIONS of shares out of thin air, which is what naked shorting is?

And what if all the people you mentioned and all the insiders bought those shares at foolishly low prices thanks to crazy stupid short sellers in Canada?

I'm NOT saying the above actually happened...probably it did NOT happen because I don't think we had the cumulative volume to account for billions on top of billions of shorting...

...but there is a point being made here. And that point is that so long as naked shares can be printed, supply can always outstrip demand.
