I don't think ATVI and Bungie look at a sooner settlement in their best interest. Companies try to hold on to $$ as long as they can. They earn income off of their $$ which is invested. This is why they drag out and delay these cases hoping the plaintiff goes bankrupt or will accept a lowball offer in the end
