Definitely a good point. But we do not know their current financial situation at the moment.
Their funding source could be very specific as to how the money get used. Or they have only so much funding and were using it to acquire new technology, get it developed, and get the company current. Some things are more important.
Maybe when they get current, they will tackle that next issue. But you do make a good point if that hasn't been done.
Not sure what, or if, what list of reasons they may have not done this.
