If you don't believe Lehman, it is probably pointless for me to respond. That said, WAMU did not have a short fall of nearly $130 bil paying off their creditor. That is a $130 bil in cancellation of debt that greatly exceeds the NOLs.

No NOLs. All assets sold. Nothing left. That is what the BK court approved modified plan calls for. No remaining equity to be swapped.
