Incorrect in part and in whole.
The FACT that commons have outperformed preferreds over the past 12 months demonstrates that at least some investors are buying commons and selling preferreds.

I have posted the comment where Ackman said that "in almost every senario, the commons fare better than the preferreds", but Im not doing your homework for you again.
