Sad part is they prepaid $5M for product and only sold $1M. Assuming they got a decent discount, does the discount justify waiting a year or more to cover the cost? Was this simply a bad decision or a scheme? I can't help but wonder. It was an unusual decision at that time though - I mean they used ALL their cash on hand to prepay for product from CV/ET's sister company when sales were clearly declining.
