Probably that or they are scorned and trying to prove a point. By putting large shares on the ask prior to their dump into the bid, they cap the price movement on the upside and in the event buyers come in they hold the top of the price for the day all to make the day's candle look bad so that they create more panic sell for the next day. If by chance buyer come in and take out their ask, then they will put in more road blocks on the way back up. This is being planned out by someone.
