Oh please. You are never going to sell this board or the people in this country on that. The second a CEO or person in charge doesn't make their bonus or takes a pay cut, people start getting fired. You aren't realistic if you think they care about the people they canned. If people in power jobs could record what their staff says about them the second they left the room, they would need therapy for the rest of their life.
Pretty much every poster here probably has multiple stories about how their bosses dressed professionally, talked professionally, told everybody who worked for them how much they appreciate and care for them, and then those people who worked for them ended up with a knife in their back. No different when it comes to shareholders. No CEO is going to take a good amount less money for them by taking a deal that makes the shareholders more. This CEO is going to take the deal that makes him the most money as he should. It's his company. His product. He spent 10+ years of his life working on it. Nobody here did squat to make his company or product successful.
The fact we can profit on his and his staff's hard work when we in fact did nothing to contribute to it, is why this country is great. Essentially, we did nothing to make this product what it is and we can get wealthy off it. Which is why I tried telling you months ago that I didn't care if he cursed us out on that conference call. He's going to make the rest of our lives easy.
I remember the days where bosses would curse people in meetings and nobody thought anything of it. Brushed it off and moved on. Now, I actually hear that kids have their parents brought into job interviews. Or parents call colleges up to complain about their childs professors. That's how soft a lot of people in this country have become.
