What I said was literally a very logical speculation on the issue.
Besides, it's not Ian's responsibility to be there. That's why he has retained a lawyer for these proceedings. If you want someone to be upset with don't let it be me or Ian, be upset with the lawyer.
Who's to say it was Dixon that was the issue? I see nothing to suggest this was his "fault" (don't see anything that says it's anyone's fault actually)
And 136's post could be correct. Not sure why it would be called a "stupid a-- post". We have no idea why the parties didn't show, so one of them being sick or unable to make it for any reason is as reasonable a guess as any other. Sick, death in the family, etc. Judge gets notified the night before or that morning, tells the other party, and the whole thing gets pushed back a week.
