Ha. Doesn’t mean other entities wouldn’t steal the technology. It’s often cheaper for them to use it illegally and fight the lawsuits than to pay up. Some firms like Apple just take the tech and fight the lawsuits if a US patent. The system in the US is one big mess right now. However, unlike in the US, patent protection in Germany is supposed to be very strong. It doesn’t take many years of back and forth in the court system to get things done. They work pretty fast. Probably not so much in China where stealing isn’t always viewed as a bad thing.
