There will be no special dividend, that's just a massive pipe dream

SECI stock will be worth what someone is willing to pay for it and until it reaches book value it will always be perceived as undervalued, in the case of a lawsuit win. People like to buy stocks they feel are undervalued

If special dividends were to be paid how would that play out?



If company plans for a special dividend with a portion of the settlement or court win money it can announce a date cut off point (for owning the shares) and then easily get the NOBO list of current shareholders from the brockerages. The list has the names and addresses of all shareholders.

Then, they can cut a check to every share holder proportional to the number of shares each shareholder has.

Just the announcement of such special dividend will make trading a lot more fun!
