The MMCC (Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission) was all set to announce pre-approval awards for cannabis licenses a couple months ago, but a company named Remileaf (no association to BayGrow) filed a formal complaint with the state because they were upset about not receiving a license prior. This then caused a formal investigation to take place and a pause on announcing any new licenses for other companies. Unfortunately, this investigation is still going on with no clear date of completion. MMCC's official website (link below) states that the new licenses award date is TBD (to be determined).
