That's an interesting idea, but, I really liked viewing the trends on the app. I'm still wearing it at the moment, but, seriously considering this to be my last week of it. Pretty sure of it actually.

It's been great seeing my sleep cycles and what my HR does at various times. It's been quite educational. The most interesting is seeing the run up in resting heartbeat as a kind of warning that something like a cold or flu is coming on. I stay away from others when I see that happening. That's the primary value of it to me at this point.

Privacy is becoming more of a serious issue... has been for a long time. Look at the DNA testing companies... they started out doing well, and suddenly having a tough time gaining business.

I can understand how you feel, Karin, I also value my privacy. That said, it isn't necessary to stop using your Fitbit, just disconnect it from the app so it isn't sending info back to your phone and/or computer and Fitbit (soon to be Alphabet).

I actually have two Fitbits, one connected to their app and the other not. Either one will tell me the info I want, but I prefer to use the one that is not sending my info back to Big Brother, LOL
