I personally have not. But I have never allowed shares to be borrowed without my consent which I explicitly have not given. I learned about this issue years ago and I have even changed from one broker firm to another for the sole reason that they did not accept my letter requesting that my margin account shares not be borrowed. By the way, it was Fidelity!
They acknowledged that shares in my cash account will not be borrowed.
In pursuing legal advice, I leaned the rules and laws about this issue.
