The patents expire in 2038 after they are issued. 18 more years!!!!!!!!!

Patents are soon expiring. Too soon for any incremental investment in SequestOx. Nasrat gave up further investment, but is maintaining patents for some minimal value in a buyout.

Exclusivity still gives you six years starting from FDA approval, so if somebody were to get sequestox approved they would have at least that long to market the drug as a brand name (+ however long it takes FDA to approve ANDA for first generic)
