Can’t say that. But, this early buyout idea has been in the cards for a long time on this board and not just by people that know nothing. Someone that doesn’t post here now that was/is close to Kim and Jon would talk about this as the plan matter of factly. Add to that the recent comment made by Jon and what I noted earlier from Kim’s Thanksgiving letter you shareholders and you start to wonder ...
If Milliken is ready to buy and (in my view when are they not? They have been in the acquisition mood of late) is willing to offer a billion or so just for the current proven to them genetically modified spider silk piece of the business, then Kim might like to sell that and keep the latest R&D stuff to grow himself with a spin-off of sorts.
All JMO of course... speculation
Everything to fruition... in 2020 ... thrilling changes for business AND shareholders... hmm
11/26/19 letter to shareholders:
Kraig Labs is now preparing to take a giant leap that will enhance our global presence. Our management has been working hard over the last quarter to prepare for that leap and we believe those efforts will lead to even greater successes in 2020. We intend to use our new position as a launching pad.
While I am thrilled over our progress and growth in 2019, this is only the foundation upon which we intend to build. Our new assignment is to deliver spider silk to end customers and bring everything to fruition in 2020.
