If Elsewhere was intended to mean France, why not just say France? Is it more likely that Elsewhere was used instead of France as a "catch-all" because this was a large company including many subsidiaries, likely including in tax-advantaged countries, etc or that Elsewhere was used instead of France in order to actively deceive the general investing public while concurrently dropping a signal to astute investors?
