Interesting. Diamontech seems to be a private German company trying to do the same thing. This is getting to be quite a crowded field - which is too bad. Their technology too seems to be a platform technology that could be used to detect other things as well.
From their website: "A desktop device for clinical settings and multiple users and a compact pocket device for the end user. The band is a glimpse into the future: A watch-like device you can wear on your wrist that measures your glucose levels continuously. Each device can also communicate with your mobile phone so you can check your information any time and take immediate action."
They have a pocket device that is supposed to come out the end of this year, but their wearable band is not scheduled to come out until 2023-2024 so it looks like KNWN might have a couple steps on them when it comes to the wearable device. That's good news!
So the race is on!
Since this one is private, all we can do is watch from the sidelines. I'm still gonna put my money on KNWN mostly, at least for now. My money in $PAVM is more for their other products as opposed to blood glucose monitoring, but that could also provide a nice surprise along the way.
This investment in KNWN though seems to be getting a bit more risky with all this competition.
