A funny thing about those patents...

A search of the USPTO database shows no patents assigned to Kim Thompson or Kraig Biocraft. A search of Randy Lewis’ patents shows that none of them include Thompson.

The KBLB website includes this information: “Kraig has obtained certain exclusive rights to use numerous spider silk genetic sequences which are the subject of five US patents held by the University of Wyoming. The University of Wyoming is a leader in spider silk research, and the University of Wyoming Foundation is a Kraig shareholder.”

Several joint applications between Norte Dame and KBLB were rejected, re-filed, rejected, and abandoned. KBLB has indicated it has filed provisional patent applications, but not the actual applications themselves.

What patents am I missing?

When people point out that I made a mistake, my practice is to acknowledge the correction. You can find this if you search through my posts and find examples of this.
