"the Company's production arm, Prodigy Textiles, is preparing to make its first commercial delivery of enhanced fibers in the first quarter of 2020."

So this shows that the 1st delivery won't happen this year, as many had postulated. It will probably come towards the middle or end of the next quarter (if at all).

That means that they will have to survive another few months. KBLB needs to get cash immediately in order to do that.

I’m guessing we may have you to thank for this.

Although KBLB didn’t name the spider, I would bet this is Darwin’s bark spider. If memory serves, Truth found out information about the spider (dna sequencing?) and passed it along to KBLB quite a while back.

I celebrate the news but don’t expect much of a bump from it. Investors care more about sales than r&d. As is usually the case, I will be happy to be proven wrong.

Yeah, but does KBLB have some good in a bucket? That's what the market leaders have.

from todays pr: "These new protein designs have the potential to create new materials"

we have been making new stuff every so often for the past ten years...how about selling something and making money for a change?...

"and open additional markets for the Company’s recombinant silk technologies."

just what we need...additional markets!...so far we've identified about 12 thousand markets for spider silk including the butcher, baker and candlestick maker...we cant satisfy the markets we know of and now we have even more markets that we cant satisfy!..

polartec alone can likely utilize all the silk kblb can produce for the next 2 years...

every other pr has more potential markets thunk up by kim..its run its course kim...ya need to come up with some new bs...
