I'd say that it is probably meaningless. I think they were "engaged" to conduct an audit, and that line was reapeated over and over just to pacify all of the people that were humping Benito's leg while they finished the scam and bilked the investors out of our hard-earned cash.

their effort now is to provide RM cert for their SEC reporting requirements. They can answer any question that involves LAHO truthfully. LAHO is part of the RM therefore they are working for LAHO as well.
