Lamperd Less Lethal Profiled in Lambton College Newsletter Regarding SONAMI Research Program
In September, 2019 Lamperd Less Lethal was approved for a financial support package from the SONAMI program of the Canadian government to conduct a research program in conjunction with Lambton College of Ontario. The purpose of this research is to test new methods for the concentration of Lamperd's pepper formula used in its aerial burst and hand thrown devices for crowd control. No other company in the world parallels the extent to which Lamperd develops these types of products for safety and effectiveness.
Excerpt: Lamperd Less Lethal is a global presence in the non-lethal personnel control products with a history of product development and research of new products. Non-lethal force is a growing market. Lamperd recognizes that even within non-lethal force methods, there will be greater scrutiny, accountability and liability when any force method is deployed.
This project is focused on developing methods to measure pepper cloud active concentrations. Through the creation of effective testing methodology, Lamperd will solidify its position of leadership in the industry and can provide batch-specific certificates of aerosolized pepper concentrations for confidence in deployment and use in legal defense.
