His bonus is paid based on PPS. However, it does not
hinge in shares - in fact, it is silent to what the bonus might be but to my ears, that implies cash not shares. Therefore, he was smart enough not to invest his livelyhood into the share price - unlike many of us who actually planked down the dollars to buy. His achievement of PPS was stiffled IMO, by his inability to run the company under the watchful eye of the Nigerian Godfathers. Yes, I use a plural there to indicate more than just the COB.
