just fyi, "shorts" mean that you "buy" at a higher price (it's actually not buying at all; you borrow shares at a higher price), hoping the price goes down...then you sell at the lower price, and gain the profits in between.
I believe what you're referring to is swingtrading (kind of like daytraders, but over a span of days/weeks)
