One thing that makes sense:
Trulieve's expenses have to go up when they enter new states.
Couple that with the fact that their margins in new states cannot equal their Florida margins without the efficient seed-to-sale scale they've built there.
Not being the first or second mover into the state means their competitive success path is a bit steeper too.
