I agree with you, but PTOI is not the solution to the problem.

In my opinion it doesnt matter who is the problem creating it... the result is it is screwing up the whole planet, which affects all of us... next time you enjoy a nice piece of salmon steak consider that there may be micro particles of plastic in it that you are now consuming

very true .. emails' rec'd in this year keep revealing just how horrific this problem has become

here's one .. i could post at least 5 of these daily .. truly sobering reading .. clearly P2O won't solve
the problem in total .. but having sites set up and fully operational certainly helps offset .. because
as i noted back in 2012 or so .. when *sustainable* was clearly evolving re: corporate governance
policies .. plastic would become a commodity

It's hard to picture 1 trillion of anything. It's equal to a million millions. If you went back in time 1 trillion seconds, you'd find yourself well back into the Paleolithic era, around 30,000 B.C.E.

The point is, 1 trillion is a lot. But new research shows that 7 trillion microplastic particles flow into the San Francisco Bay every single year.1

It's more important than ever that the EPA sets new restrictions on plastic pollution. If you agree that the endless tide of plastic must stop, join us in calling on the EPA for new regulations today.
