Unfortunately(IMHO), the revolving door between government and corporate is now so perverse, causing favor towards global business behemoths at the expense of small fries like WDDD, right or wrong. If you want to look at pure evil on the planet, look no further then the actions of Rumsfeld/Monsanto/Searle and sucralose! I'm not a Huff post fan, but here is a decent post on the subject of how decisions get 'fixed'.
