Ahh but if its for Navy Seals, commando units, the bomb squad it might be kept secret for awhile I am not sure how the military gets money into a company making top secret stuff but keeps the information away from stock holders.
But if we had a military contract wouldn't we move production or at least live silk worms to the US China I'm sure would pay a million or more for just one silk worm.
i am not saying its not possible its just we would move production and or KBLB has something even better for the military and they are keeping it secret and those live silk worms are never leaving the US.
But when do we find out about the money is the question I have no knowledge of how the military handles things like this they want to keep secret.

"Isn't it interesting then that we are using DS 2.0 for production that is going to Polartec (as stated at the SHM), Polartec having ties to the military?"

sure...it seems that polartec is going to try to put something together to sell to the miliatry...if that doesn't work, they'll make something else to sell..thats what they do...sell stuff..

"DS 2.0 is what the military requested,"

nope...if it was, the army would have paid kblb as the contract called for...the military gave kblb specifications for what they wanted...kblb came up with ds2..and claimed success...

the army walked away...they never paid kblb the rest of the contract...and now the contract is dead...

"and it is the silk line that we are mass producing."

correct...

"It seems pretty clear to me that this batch of material will be eventually used in military items."

it wasn't good enough for bullet proof vests but maybe its good enough for something else...so yea...could be...remains to be seen...

the truth is, I believe the army may still have had some interest in kblb's products...I think they just got tired of dealing with kim and his constant bs, failure to perform, meet timelines and just general incompetence...

I think the army has many companies that they like to deal with and kblb isn't one of them...they likely told kblb to deal with a competent company and they'll go through them...
