Oh yeah, Billy Taylor!
His afternoon radio show on WLIB was entertaining and informative,
and I listened in often after school.

Years later, when LIB had a substantial amount of programming
devoted to West Indian music, I was very fortunate to have the very
first record of my fledgling label played in heavy rotation on Ken Williams' Caribbean show.
It ran for nearly 6 months and during that time
I got many calls in Colorado, from friends
in NY who were hearing "Mighty Rocky; The Prince From Hell,"
often, on that station.
