Rob:
What's wrong with Sari Baldauf of Nokia Networks; the q could use "her" significant marketing skills in the international arena, rather than the american way. I'm sure the q would give her plenty of options and restricted shares which she could start dumping in three years along with the rest of the senior execs.

"he race to the bottom is on! No wonder Nokia are positioning themselves at the bottom of the food chain on cdma. The writing is on the wall, apparently."

be fairer rob, Nokia is at he bottom of the cdma chain, because they don't have the cdma technology to be higher up.
And that's not a criticism. My grandfather was in the horse and buggy business in the late 1890's, and cashed in on that horse(and buggy)rather than go into the automotive business, but you can't have it both ways, plain and simple. Having said that, Nokia is good for at least another 10 years in europe anyway. and 50 percent of the other markets their in.
Plus they are going to be the infrastructure wcdma "queen", and be able to grab low hanging fruit in the wcdma world-so they got a good future. (whats my point - i'm getting tired of us qheads being so mad at nokia. Frankly i like 'em, but i wouldn't buy the stock. but what do i knowi
