That is a TRUE statement of fact, except the "nonsense" part. Those that have averaged down, taking advantage of the opportunity, stand to do significantly better in the future. For those that bought and are holding, going back to black isn't a far stretch. Their potential rewards for holding far out strip the benefit of selling here unless it is for tax loss selling.

And the twist to your comment,

That's not quite true. I like talking about the stock she DOESN'T want to hear about it.
