Yep, a P&D “awareness” campaign/promo paid for by Stockmench Promotions. Lining up unsuspecting investors and dumping on them. A few minutes DD will show that to be a Fact.
The SEC continues to warn investors about penny stock trading and the risks of market manipulation and higher volatility.
Regulators have increasingly made their views of penny stocks known. The SEC's Division of Economic and Risk Analysis published a white paper in 2016 highlighting the risks of investing in over-the-counter markets. The majority of investors lose over -60% of their money in the trades, and losses worsened for stocks that were the subject of promotional campaigns and those that had weaker disclosures, the SEC says.
For example anyone who purchased SMCE at $0.009 on Monday would be down -33% on Friday’s close at $0.006. Those are the kind of investors the SEC is targeting their warnings at: those who don't perform sufficient DD and lose money on the trades.
