People buying into the sector now are the smart money speculators
They know a lot more about what’s really going on than the media
Which is why we saw no impact whatsoever today in our stocks
People who were going to panic sell largely did so already due to having an irrational reaction to the vaping crisis, which makes it more likely, not less likely, that the FDA will issue interim regs and enforcement discretion ASAP for Pure CBD products
The stocks have all been moving horizontally for the past 3-5 weeks on very low volume, and that’s what I like to see in a frozen sector
I’m personally more bullish now than ever, especially with Giroir replacing Sharpless as the new interim FDA Commissioner — this makes interim regs with enforcement discretion for Pure CBD Products more likely to be included in the FDA report, especially if it comes out in December (remember, they need to declare a formal policy of enforcement discretion by January due to Mitch’s legislation, so putting them out in December isn’t much of a stretch at this point)
The Dr. Gottlieb quote from last night about Congress applying maximal pressure on the FDA to release interim regs, by holding up Dr. Hahn’s Senate confirmation hearings on becoming the next FDA Commissioner until the FDA announces a pathway for CBD Products, was also a very big deal
And I was only able to find out about it due to a small blurb in Politico
The media is really dropping the ball here
But here is the latest news on Giroir, Hahn and the conversation with Gottlieb about CBD Regs:
