Well it forces a decision and possibly accelerate resolution.
If they go against Trump's call siding with the shareholders it will end all this drama quickly. No one can say that Trump Mnuchin Calabria gave money to shareholders and call corruption charges or anything....
If SCOTUS sides with Trump (hopefully unlikely)... Well then everything is left up to the timing of Mnuchin and Calabria which are constantly under scrutiny of congress & everyone else for every step, side step and statement they make... Extending this whole debacle till the end of the election cycle and into 2021 if not further....
Nobody is going to do anything until forced... There is no political will to push through a release until forced. There is WAY to much political risk to do anything else at this time.
Unless your just poking your head up out of a hole in the ground to see what is going on with FnF and oblivious to the political climate Its just not going to happen without force....
