What I am saying is that others privy to the deals being made are technically insiders, even if they owned zero shares at the time. Secretaries, lawyers, pr firm employees, their families and friends if info is shared, and so forth. This stuff leaks out. The law states you can't trade based on info not publicly disclosed, but it happens all the time.
I am not pointing fingers at anyone here saying they had or have inside information, only that posts can sound like it. Buyer/seller beware.
