Calabria may not have the money to pay damages, but he is directly responsible for:
1) Sending the final sweep payment to the US Treasury.
2) Increase in SPS.

He did not preserve and conserve as is his duty when he did these acts. He should first remedy the wrongs done under his watch. If he doesn’t want to go after Treasury for the overpayments, as he is required to, as their conservator, he should either resign, or release them from conservatorship so that they can fend for themselves. He would then be strictly their regulator and no longer their conservator. He could also stop fighting the lawsuits and release the hidden documents.

I really liked the part where he said he did not have the money to pay damages. Just admitted there were damages caused to shareholders.

“I don’t have any money to pay anyone damages, so that will be decided by somebody else.”

Oh yes you do, the court just decided FHFA should be included in the appropriation act, and pay back the aready distributed funds with 10% interest, as that is the standard at treasury

So every $1.00 distributed to FHFA should be returned as $2.85
