i believe that is the case but that's not for another 10 years. by then, if everything comes to fruition, this company will have already made the big score. i don't think they will be around in another 2-3 years anyway because they will be bought out. i believe that is what mark wants. the technology and extremely complicated so i don't believe it will be easy for any company to replicate it assuming dyai is still around. plus, with all of the deals they are signing with these huge pharma companies, you better believe the patents will be strengthened

Dupont, but in 10 years Dyadic or the purchaser will have advanced the technology so far that Dupont could never catch up

Hear's the answer to you question.

It was part of the Dupont sale. After 2029 Dupont would be allowed to enter the Pharma space. At this time they have not shown any interest in that space.

Can anyone clarify the following statement by the CEO in the latest presentation: "we have the rights to use C1 and sub-license it exclusively until 2029 for animal and human health"? Does this imply that they lose their exclusivity on C1 uses in pharma at that time, and if so.. to whom?
