The biggest draws in my house are obviously the A/C and the gas furnace. I made sure right away that the generator could handle the draw.

As for gasoline I use Stabil in my gas but I don't keep it in the generator. Gas doesn't last long enough around my house for it to go bad.

And BTW Costco is the cheapest place to buy propane. I have about 3 tanks that are always full. We grill out all year long.
