Of course the auditors had to get the numbers from AXXA... They had been in contact with AXXA attorney's, CPA/accountants, and other business associates to assemble everything they needed to make their determination for the opinion of the report.
Some here must think that Third Party auditors just make up numbers for crying out loud. No they actually have to gather all the information from various avenues to formulate the report. I remember when the auditors were back and forth with the CPA and attorney for weeks to make sure they had a clear picture of the company before the report finally got issued.
