Let's pretending that both Congress and trump administration agree to work together to privatize both fannie and Freddie at end of this month. The issue of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac is the subject of a very contentious lawsuit against the government. The plaintiffs from both jps and cs won a major victory recently and eventually the government will have to settle with the folks who own shares in both of these entities in a way that will allow the government to to complete their mission.
