The 30-year average price-to-book-value ratio of oil and gas stocks is 2.4, according to Bank of America Merrill Lynch. So it should be $2.25 to $2.40 on that valuation. Keep in mind that price to book ratio is mainly larger oil companies. Smaller, more growth oriented, oil companies, like Fortem, generally trade at a higher multiple. Since Fortem has the potential to generate a ton of cash from its untapped reserves, that multiple will probably be higher. Doubles are good, triples are better, but I'm planning on a home run with Fortem.
